. . . . The portrait of the Fat Lady swings aside, and you clamber through a hole in the wall. Now you stand in the Gryffindor Common Room.
The room is abuzz with students talking, laughing, and working at their studies. Groups of students have settled themselves into the comfortable chairs and couches that dot the room. Small tables are piled high with books, practically hiding from sight the students working away behind them. A fire blazes in the fireplace, casting light on the stone walls. A small first year runs up to you, grinning widely.
"So, you're in Gryffindor too, eih? I've heard we're truly the best in the bunch. You've gotta be a brave soul to get into Gryffindor," he says proudly, before scurrying away.
