Hufflepuff Commons

. . . . As you speak the password, the tapestry of a man picking apples silently rolls itself up, revealing a tunnel; you duck low, shuffling your way inside.  Now you stand in the Hufflepluff Common Room.

The room echoes with the noise of laughter and cheerful chatter.  Students are gathered in large groups, happily discussing and joking amongst themselves.  Large windows let in plenty of natural light, and flickering sconces keep the room bright once the sun has set.  Armchairs are clustered into small and large groups, and small tables are covered with the students' studies. A cheery first year comes jogging up to you, smiling politely.

"Oh, I didn't know you were going to be in Hufflepuff too!  Well, that's just great!  Everyone knows it's the best house of them all, since we've got to be friendly and patient to get in here," he says, beaming, before jogging back over to a large group of laughing students.
